Al Jazeera English App Reviews

Its simply not a very intuitive news application. Its very difficult to find anything of relevance or value when sifting through piles of information. Even the custom settings arent well-organized. Its just a poor design.

Everything on the app makes it easy to operate as well as understand easily. The only problem is we cant view news which are broadcasted from Doha. Once when they never had broadcasted from the US, they left the broadcast from Doha on the net. Now after they started the US broadcast they dont let us view the Doha version. I hope theyll let us view the Doha once they leave US. Altogether I wouldnt want them to leave. Give yourself some more time. Hopefully your viewership will increase, you are leaving the battlefield of broadcasters when the elections are nearly at the doorstep and your viewership could go off the roofs.

Hard to use and everything is mixed up.

The app is good at bringing the angles to stories youd expect from Al Jazera however, none of the features seem to work and it doesnt keep me logged in

Unless I wear glasses I cant read the news with naked eyes because of too small font size. App should give us different font size option but this setting doesnt seem to be exist :(

New version is confusing. Additionally, the option of choosing a larger font is needed. I especially miss the ability to easily find your opinion pieces.

I personally like to gather my information from various sources around the world. I take nothing as gospel especially big corporate media. Anytime I am thinking about the Middle East and its problems I like to bring in input from here. Various writers submit here and Algazera does state they do not necessarily represent their stance. They just present the article, you make up your own mind.

Thank you so much for the wonderful, inclusive international perspective on the news for a while, at least. We watch Al Jazeera America daily & it will be very much missed. The app will have to replace it, but its not the same. Thank you for your work.

After watching AJ America on TV decided to try the App. I hate the fact the AJ America will go off the air in April, no other news media offers the diversity in news, reports, special programs and documentaries with quality, professionalism and objectivity. BBC and AJ are the only ones covering the whole world. Im glad at least the digital form will continue.

Sorry to hear Aljazeera America is leaving television! Will be using this app a lot more now!!

This is a well-designed app. It is easy to read and navigate and their filing system lets you get more and more information about the topic. On a news level, AJ is relatively neutral. They do an excellent job of interviewing both sides and not giving much commentary or speculation - just the facts from the ground. AJ doesnt try to "prove" anything, they just say whats going on. Five Stars!

AJ is a necessary part of my perspective while news gathering. The app is well laid out. Thank you

Though I will really miss the TV station Aljezeera America Im grateful for this wonderful news source at least. I wish AJAM could come back some day...

I enjoy the app, the articles, but I find that having to log back in every time I shut down the app tedious.

The app is good, but the news is the best.

The app will not allow me to watch videos because I am American and it says that I must watch them on the Al Jazeera America app, which has shut down recently.

Since the major change to the app that changed its look, I barely use the app anymore. Nothing is chronological and all the news and opinions are smushed together. Worst part is, some items stay up for weeks and continue to sit next to brand new news articles. Its annoying.
